Carpet tiles are the workhorse of the commercial flooring world. They are hard-wearing, acoustically comfortable, quick to install and, because individual tiles can be lifted and replaced, extremely practical to maintain over the life of the floor.
Why carpet tiles?
Carpet tiles offer real flexibility. Damaged or stained tiles can be swapped out in minutes without replacing the whole floor, and tiles can be lifted to access raised-floor voids and services underneath. They are available in a huge range of colours, textures and formats, including planks and hexagons, so they can be laid in creative patterns or used to define zones within an open-plan office.
Professional installation
A quality carpet tile installation needs a clean, sound and level base, careful setting-out from the centre of the room, and the correct tackifier adhesive so tiles stay in place but can still be lifted when needed. We pay close attention to pile direction and laying pattern (monolithic, quarter-turn, brick or ashlar) so that the finished floor looks exactly as the designer intended.
